In November 2020, Colorado voters approved Proposition 118 which approved a state-run paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance program (FAMLI). Local governments (like our office) can elect to participate in this program or opt out. Below is a link to the state’s FAMLI website which has more information about the program. If you have any input about this program or about whether or not we should participate, please respond by email before our vote which will be held Friday March 24th at 9:00 A.M.
